Improving Hotel Service in Kyrgyzstan by Using the Hospitality Industry in Turkey as an Example

The Department of Tourism and Hotel Management has been working on this project since 2016, with the goal of improving hotel service in Kyrgyzstan by organizing trainings for industry representatives in hotels in Turkey. In 2016, 17 managers attended trainings through the program, while in 2017, 19 managers have been trained. These managers represent 32 hotels in 4 regions in Kyrgyzstan, and they visited trainings in hotels in Antalya.

These managers can visit famous hotels, such as the Mardan Palace, Von Hotels, Kilikiya Palace, Starlight Convention Center, Thalasso Spa, and Sunrise Park, and there they become acquainted with the work carried out in departments, including sales and marketing, registration, guest relations, food and restaurants, and maid services. This gives managers a deeper understanding of the hospitality industry in Antalya, and allows them to adapt their new knowledge for Kyrgyzstan, in order to improve and grow the hotel industry here.
